Erika Bury
Coach Bury was born in Maryland, where lacrosse is deeply ingrained in the culture. She played lacrosse at Virginia Tech before moving to Boston to earn her doctorate in optometry, which eventually brought her to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Her passion for lacrosse has kept her involved in the game. She has been a referee as well as coach in Maryland before serving as an assistant coach for Sherwood and Newberg over the past six years. Coach Bury is excited to bring her extensive knowledge, passion, and love for the game to Sherwood.

Julie Hamburger
Coach Julie has been a cornerstone of the Sherwood lacrosse program since 2005. She began coaching when her daughter joined the sport and has remained deeply involved ever since. Julie has coached at the high school level and has played a pivotal role in helping the youth program grow and thrive.
Coach Julie has been JV coach, assistant coach, and coach for the Sherwood high school program throughout her 20 year career. She has a way of embracing players and making them feel comfortable learning at all levels. As a strong advocate for her players, she brings the true essence of what lacrosse is to Sherwood. She is the heart of Sherwood lacrosse and we are excited to have her back on the sidelines for another year.​
